Sweet Bread Pudding


A bag of leftover bagels – chopped into little squares
leftover cinnamon bread – chopped into little squares
2 bananas
7 eggs
3 cups half & half (or whole milk or heavy cream)
chocolate chips


Make sure your bread is chopped up into approximately the same sizes
Layer in on the bottom of your greased pan
Sprinkle the bananas on top of your first layer
Add more bread cubes
Whip the eggs and half and half together
Pour over the top of the bread
Let soak for 5 minutes
Bake at 350F for 1 hour + (until egg is fully cooked)

We made another smaller loaf with just the leftover cinnamon bread and chocolate chips
We used 3 eggs and 1 cup of half and half for that loaf
